Utica Man Faces Arrest for Child Exploitation Charges
UTICA, NY — Keenan Gant, a 40-year-old registered sex offender, was arrested on April 15 for sexual abuse and illegal surveillance after an anonymous tip led authorities to a surveillance camera in a minor’s bedroom. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Child Advocacy Center investigated, interviewing the child who reported inappropriate contact by Gant. During a search of his residence on Court Street, multiple surveillance devices were discovered in private areas. Gant was processed and arraigned on April 16, facing serious charges.
