Men's Outdoor Track and Field Competes at Capital District Classic Event
The Utica University men’s track and field team is set to compete at the RPI Capital District Classic this Friday, April 25, starting at 2 PM. Highlighting the team’s recent achievements, Ellis Urgent secured a spot as the second-best long jumper in program history with a leap of 7.15m and Joshua Talbot earned Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Week honors by breaking the hammer throw record at 57.49m. Both athletes are ranked nationally, with Talbot sitting 18th and Urgent 21st in their respective events.
