Women’s Lacrosse Competes in Last Game Before Empire 8 Conference Tournament
In a tough season finale, Utica women’s lacrosse fell to SUNY Geneseo, 19-6, despite Alyssa Specchio’s standout performance with two goals and two assists. The Pioneers initially took the lead, but Geneseo’s powerful second half secured their victory. Makayla Purdy shone in goal, making a career-high 15 saves. Looking ahead, Utica is set to face SUNY Brockport in the Empire 8 Conference tournament on April 29 at 4 PM.
