Women’s Golf Secures Third Place at NWGC Spring Championship
Utica University’s women’s golf team achieved a notable third place at the NWGC Spring Championship, competing against 11 teams amid challenging weather conditions. With a combined score of +144, the team showcased resilience, especially as tournament play was reduced from 36 to 27 holes. Alaina Weaver led the team individually, finishing 10th out of over 50 competitors with a +29 score. Despite the windy conditions, the Pioneers demonstrated strong performance and finish, also securing third in the fall championships.
