No Criminal Charges for Former Comet in the UK
In Yorkshire, England, prosecutors announced that former Utica Comet Matt Petgrave will not face criminal charges related to a manslaughter case stemming from a 2023 ice hockey incident. Investigated for nearly a year, the Crown Prosecution Service concluded there was insufficient evidence for a conviction after Petgrave’s collision with Adam Johnson of the Nottingham Panthers, which resulted in Johnson’s death. Deputy chief crown prosecutor Michael Quinn stated that there is “not a realistic prospect of conviction” in this case.📺 Fetch Source
