Utica Children's Museum Grand Opening: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on May 1.
The Utica Children’s Museum will open its doors to the public on Thursday, May 1, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday that marked the completion of a five-year project. The new state-of-the-art facility is located at the Parkway in Utica, following the closure of its previous site in Bagg’s Square on March 4, 2020. Operating hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with general admission priced at $15 and special rates available for families with EBT cards. The museum features two floors of exhibits, including a two-story climber in a 4,000-square-foot rotunda.
