Utica Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Brockport; Colgate Men’s Team Advances in Playoffs
On April 29, 2025, in women’s lacrosse Empire 8 quarterfinals, (3) SUNY Brockport defeated (6) Utica 16-2. In men’s lacrosse, (5) Colgate overcame (4) Lehigh 14-10 in the Patriot League quarterfinals. In women’s softball, MVCC won 4-2 but lost to Herkimer 4-9 in a doubleheader. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Jackie Robinson Game between Utica and Hamilton was halted in the fourth inning and ultimately canceled. High school scores included New Hartford dominating CVA 12-0 in girls softball.
