Women’s Track and Field Prepares for Empire 8 Championships This Weekend
The Utica University women’s outdoor track and field team is geared up for the exciting Empire 8 Championship at SUNY Brockport this Friday and Saturday. The event kicks off at 1:30 PM on May 2 and promises thrilling contests, including the 3000m steeplechase and the 4x100m relay. Fresh off a strong performance where they placed third at the RPI Capital District Classic, the Pioneers aim to make an impact, with seven athletes already qualifying for the AARTFC Regional Championship in multiple events.
