Utica Woman Charged After Hammer Assault on Genesee Street
UTICA, NY — A 49-year-old woman, Dorothea Rolle, was arrested for attacking a male victim with a hammer during an argument over money in an apartment on Genesee Street on Thursday, May 1, around 5:20 PM. The victim, who suffered injuries, managed to flee and contact the police. Rolle was subsequently located and taken into custody. She faces charges including second-degree attempted assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both classified as violent felonies.
