Utica Zoo's Prehistoric Showcase: Grand Opening Approaches for Educational Exhibit!
The Utica Zoo is set to unveil its “Dino Discovery” attraction on May 24, featuring animatronic dinosaurs delivered in truckloads. Executive Director Andria Heath noted significant preparation is needed, as the setup involves 16,000 pounds of dinosaurs. Jordan Gray, a Field Technician from Billings Productions, mentioned that assembling and waterproofing the dinosaurs could take 7 to 10 days, emphasizing the complexity of getting the exhibit operational in time for the opening.
