Court Proceedings Underway for Faxton Street Murder Suspects
Utica Men Face Charges in Homicide Case: Quadir Pinkney, 19, and Dion Ahmeti, 20, appeared in Oneida County Court on August 12, facing second-degree murder charges for the November 2022 shooting of 19-year-old Keyamonie Davis on Faxton Street. Pinkney is also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The incident was part of a series of shootings on November 8; Davis succumbed to his injuries at Wynn Hospital after being shot, while another individual was also injured. Police arrested Pinkney on November 26 and Ahmeti on December 2.
