BRIDGEWATER, NY — On Monday night, August 11, a tragic accident on State Route 8 claimed the life of 50-year-old Ju Nine, a pedestrian from Utica. The incident occurred around 11:50 PM when 71-year-old Lysle Jones of Leonardsville struck Nine with his vehicle while traveling southbound. Despite immediate response from New York State Police and the Bridgewater Fire Department, Nine was pronounced dead at the scene.
