NYS Public Service Committee Approves National Grid Rate Increase Decision
The New York State Public Service Commission approved National Grid’s three-year plan to raise gas and electric rates in upstate New York on August 14. Starting September 2025, average customers will see a $22 monthly increase, with further hikes of over $14 in the second year and more than $13 in the third year. This decision aims to address infrastructure costs and service maintenance requirements.
