Abundant Talent Shines at 3rd Utica Royalties Talent Show
The third annual Utica Royalties Talent Show was held Saturday at 730 Broadway St. in Utica, showcasing over 60 performers, including musicians, poets, comedians, and tap dancers. Launched in 2022, the show promotes youth creativity and leadership, offering a judgment-free space for self-expression beneficial for mental health. This year’s winner will receive $250 and an opportunity to perform at the New York State Fair. Executive director Hawa Peters emphasizes the importance of such events in helping youth explore their identities.
