Daishaughn Hodge, a 25-year-old man wanted for murder in New York City, was arrested on August 14 at a residence on Downer Avenue in Utica. The charges stemmed from a homicide that occurred on August 1 in Brooklyn. The US Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force, alongside UPD, Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, and NYPD, executed the operation, leading to Hodge’s capture and the recovery of a loaded .45 caliber handgun.
