We are working with the state to create new ways to transition people who must be helped, and completely recognize that society is also in need of help.
Today, significant cleanup efforts took place in West Utica, following earlier abatement operations in South Utica. In the preceding week, I engaged in walks across various areas with code enforcement. The accompanying photos showcase the diligent work of our Codes Officers, Department of Public Works, and Parks staff, alongside my involvement. While we address clean-up challenges, we are also committed to connecting the unhoused with necessary services through collaboration with the County and local organizations. It is essential to foster a continuum of care for our community.
