Utica Woman Arrested for Not Managing Child's Behavior
A 36-year-old Utica woman, Nurto Mohamed, was arrested by police on August 19 after her 11-year-old child was linked to multiple criminal activities, including several felonies. The child, along with a 12-year-old accomplice, committed a robbery and was involved in a burglary that damaged vehicles, ultimately stealing two cars and causing further property damage. Authorities decided to charge Mohamed due to her awareness of the child’s criminal behavior and the significant public nuisance it caused.
