Oneida County DA Appeals Sealed Records in Conley Case
UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — Oneida County District Attorney Todd Carville has filed an appeal to unseal records in the Kaitlyn Conley case to pursue new charges before a grand jury. The appeal follows State Supreme Court Justice Bernadette Clark’s February decision to release Conley and seal her criminal record after she served seven years for manslaughter. In 2025, Conley’s conviction was overturned due to mishandled evidence, prompting the DA to seek a hearing to progress with new charges, hindered by the sealed records.
