Celebrate Latin Culture at Utica's 19th Annual Festival!
The Mohawk Valley Latino Association launched Hispanic Heritage Month with the 19th annual Latino American Festival in Hanna Park. Held on Sunday, the festival’s theme was “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” showcasing traditional foods, music, and dance from various Latino cultures. The free, family-friendly event also included a domino tournament and Latino merchandise sales. Organizers emphasized the significant contribution of the Latino community, celebrating over 20 years of cultural presence in the Mohawk Valley, as noted by MVLA Executive Director Sonia Martinez.
