Men's Cross Country Kicks Off 2025 Season This Weekend
The Utica University Men’s Cross Country team kicks off its season on August 30th at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational. After a strong previous season—including winning two invitationals and placing fifth at the Empire 8 Championships—the Pioneers look to build on their momentum with 14 returning athletes, led by standout Bennett Melita, a two-time E8 All-Conference First Team member. With a schedule of seven races before postseason, including key events in September and October, the team aims for a successful run toward the NCAA Championships.
