Utica Man Charged with Assaulting Corrections Officer Using Feces
A Utica man, Daniel Johnson, was arrested on August 27 after allegedly assaulting a correctional officer at the Oneida County Correctional Facility. According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, on August 13, Johnson threw fecal matter at the officer by stomping on a bag containing it, striking the officer upon the bag’s rupture. He faces charges of aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate due to this incident.
