Experience Vibrant Latin Culture at Utica's 19th Annual Festival!
The Mohawk Valley Latino Association launched Hispanic Heritage Month with its annual Latino American Festival in Hanna Park on Sunday. Celebrating its 19th year, the festival’s theme was “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.” The free event showcased traditional foods, music, dancing, and a dominos tournament, emphasizing the rich Latino culture in the Mohawk Valley. MVLA Executive Director Sonia Martinez highlighted the long-standing influence of the Latino community in the area.
