Teens Charged in Albany Street School Burglary Incident
Four teenagers, aged 14 to 17, have been charged with burglary and petty theft after unlawfully entering Utica’s Albany Street Elementary School on July 19. The Utica Police Department reported that school staff found them on surveillance footage after they accessed the building through a roof entry point and stole athletic equipment. The suspects reportedly climbed a fence to reach the roof before fleeing the scene.
