Utica Food Pantry Launches New Location to Strengthen Community Support
The Utica Food Pantry officially opened its new location at 524 Elizabeth St. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday. Having served the public since August 18, the pantry moved from the Veterans Outreach Center to enhance food distribution, volunteer engagement, and storage capacity. Kim Mattia, president of the pantry, emphasized improved accessibility, particularly for clients with disabilities and during winter, and announced plans to utilize the additional space for various community needs.
