New York Mills Plans Silent Memorial March and Ceremony for 9/11
The 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, hosted by the 9/11 Memorial Committee and the Village of New York Mills, will take place on Thursday, September 11, with a lineup at 5:45 p.m. at the New York Mills Fire House. Participants will march silently to the 9/11 Memorial at 320 Main St. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the municipality’s involvement in the memorial event, and first responders are encouraged to attend in uniform to honor the day.
