Piersma’s brace, which included a converted penalty kick, showcased her dominant start to the season with five goals in just three games. Despite Fredonia’s equalizer from the spot, Utica held their ground, with freshman keeper Avery Lawton making five saves in her debut. The Pioneers look to bounce back against Oswego State tomorrow at 12:30 PM.
