Affordable Hockey Learning Program Launches at Nexus Center for All Ages
The new Learn to Play Hockey Program, in partnership with the NHL, NHLPA, and USA Hockey, is designed for kids transitioning from sneakers to skates. Held Mondays and Wednesdays at 5 p.m. at the Utica University Nexus Center, the program offers a semester-long experience including a full equipment package. Children are grouped by skill level, receiving coaching from USA-certified instructors and junior players, ensuring structured guidance as they advance from “Learn to Skate” to “Learn to Play,” enhancing their hockey skills in a fun, supportive environment.
