Men's Track & Field Dominates Cortland Classic; Talbot Sets Hammer Throw Record
At the Cortland Classic, Josh Talbot shattered the school’s hammer throw record with a throw of 57.49m, securing second place overall. This achievement surpassed Spencer Borghardt’s previous record set just last week. Ellis Urgent also made headlines, winning the long jump with a 7.15m leap, ranking him second in the program’s history. The Utica team’s 4x400m relay qualified for regionals with a time of 3:18.57, highlighting a strong performance on day one of the event.
