Utica Police Seek Suspect in Homicide on Kemble Street
Utica Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday night in Cornhill, resulting in one death. Around 11:40 PM on April 22, officers responded to multiple gunshots near Kemble and Walker Streets and pursued a vehicle fleeing the scene. The vehicle transported a gunshot victim to Wynn Hospital, but despite medical efforts, the individual died from their injuries. The victim’s identity is withheld pending notification of next of kin, and the case is now under the Utica Police Major Crimes Unit, which is processing multiple crime scenes for further investigation.
