Oneida County Sheriff Shocked by Indictment of Deputy: A Disheartening Response
Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Alshaman faces charges for allegedly setting a house on fire on April 9 at 4:32 a.m. Fire units responded to Kellogg Avenue after the homeowner called 911, overwhelmed by smoke while escaping with her infant and two parents. Utica firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze, preserving much of the residence from complete destruction. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
