Utica University’s softball team triumphed over SUNY Geneseo, clinching a thrilling 9-7 victory in the Empire 8 Conference Tournament. Rachel Little shone at the plate, going 4-for-4 and scoring three times, while Alyssa Barbato and Abigail Sacks contributed two RBIs each. After falling behind early, the Pioneers rallied in the fifth inning, scoring four runs to take a decisive lead. With this win, Utica advances to face Alfred University in the semifinals on May 9 at 11:30 AM.
