Third Annual Utica Royalties Talent Show Showcases Abundant Talent
The third annual Utica Royalties Talent Show showcased over 60 young performers on Saturday at 730 Broadway St. in Utica. Launched in 2022, the event fosters creativity and leadership among youth. Participants included musicians, poets, comedians, and tap dancers, emphasizing the importance of self-expression for mental health. Executive Director Hawa Peters highlighted the event as a judgment-free space for exploration. This year’s winner will receive $250 and an opportunity to perform at the New York State Fair, further encouraging artistic growth.
