Johnson Park Center Community Supplies Giveaway Event
This week, the Johnson Park Center is hosting its 30th annual Back to School Supplies and Food Giveaway for disadvantaged families in the Utica neighborhood, concluding on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open to low-income families, participants need to bring ID for each household member to receive essential school supplies. Volunteers from First Source Federal Credit Union are assisting, with many noting the event’s importance and accessibility for local residents.
