Utica Families Welcome to Discuss Student Cellphone Ban Policy in Education
The Utica City School District is hosting a town hall meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. at Proctor High School to discuss Governor Kathy Hochul’s statewide cellphone ban in schools. Superintendent Dr. Christopher M. Spence will lead a Q&A session, allowing families to voice concerns and seek clarification about the policy, which will soon be implemented. This event aims to foster open dialogue regarding the impact of the internet-enabled device restrictions on students and their education.
