On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Saranac Brewery will host Utica’s first Plogging Event, a community walk/run aimed at cleaning the streets of Utica. Originating in Sweden, plogging combines jogging or walking with litter collection, promoting fitness and environmental responsibility. The event welcomes participants of all fitness levels and concludes with a celebration at the brewery featuring music, food, and a complimentary pint of Weekend Warrior beer, fostering community spirit while encouraging a cleaner environment.
