Women’s Cross Country Kicks Off 2025 Season at SUNY Poly
The Utica University women’s cross country team kicks off their season on August 30 at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational. Building on a strong 2024 performance, including a program-best 9th place finish at the NCAA Niagara Regional, the Pioneers aim for continued success with standout returners Marlo Townsend and Catherine Manna, alongside new talent Lacey Simmons and Isabella Verdejo. Competing in seven events leading to the postseason, they target a strong showing at the Empire 8 Championships and potential NCAA bids.
