Backpacks and Balloon Rides Enhance Utica Students' Experience at Proctor Park.
Save Our Streets held an event called “The Sky’s the Limit” at Proctor Park to inspire Utica students in their educational pursuits. On this occasion, backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed, thanks to contributions from Compassion Coalition, the Utica Police Department, and others. The event also featured hot air balloon rides, symbolizing limitless potential. Roosevelt Patterson, director of Save Our Streets, emphasized the importance of equipping students with necessary tools for their education, highlighting the initiative’s positive impact.
