CANTON, NY – In a spirited start to their 25th season, the Utica University field hockey team fought hard but fell to Oneonta, 4-1, in the North Country Invitational. Despite struggling early, the Pioneers rallied in the final period, outshooting their rivals 5-1 and scoring their first goal of the season by Samantha Young, assisted by Mia Benincasa.
