CNY College Football Kicks Off in Full Swing This Weekend
Central New York’s college football schedule kicks off this weekend, with teams eager to rebound from recent losses. Colgate lost a close season opener 42-39 to Monmouth and will face Villanova on Saturday at 6 PM. Syracuse suffered a defeat against Tennessee, losing 45-26, and will host UConn at noon in their home opener at the JMA Wireless Dome. Additionally, Utica University begins its season at noon against Washington & Jefferson College, while Morrisville College plays Kean University at the same time. Cortland hosts #23 Grove City at noon.
