Teen Faces Multiple Charges, Including 30 Traffic Violations, After Police Chase
A 17-year-old male from New Hartford faces multiple charges after a police pursuit on August 26. The New Hartford Police responded to Sitrin Health Care Center at 6:45 a.m. after staff reported two males sleeping in a suspicious vehicle. When officers approached, they discovered the vehicle’s license plates were stolen. The driver fled, damaging property and leading police on a short chase, which was terminated for safety reasons. He was later identified and located with assistance from the Utica Police.
