Herkimer Men's Soccer Wins Season Opener, Ranked Fifth in 9325 Report
On Wednesday night, NJCAA men’s soccer saw #9 Cayuga Community College defeat #1 MVCC 2-0, while #5 Herkimer College topped Hudson Valley 4-2. In women’s soccer, Herkimer and Hudson Valley ended in a 1-1 tie. High school girls’ soccer results included Dolgeville’s 2-0 win over Oriskany and Holland Patent’s 5-1 victory against Clinton. Boys’ soccer results featured Chittenango’s 6-2 win over Utica Academy. In field hockey, New Hartford triumphed 4-0 against Canastota, and VVS edged Clinton 1-0 in overtime.
