Two Utica Men Arrested Following Separate Brawls
Two Utica men, Duane Floyd, 40, and Elijah Mitchell, 31, were arrested on September 3 for their involvement in violent fights over the past month, according to Utica Police. Officers responded to the 800 block of Jay Street around 10:10 AM, where they found individuals injured from a confrontation stemming from domestic issues involving Floyd. The police report noted that Floyd choked Mitchell until he lost consciousness and also physically assaulted him.
